Q. How will you copy and paste a text

A. There are 2 options to copy a text

Option 1

  1. Select the text to be copied
  2. Press the CTRL and C key at the same time
  3. Place the cursor at the desired location where you want to paste
  4. Press the CTRL  and the V key at the same time

Option 2

  1. Select the text to be copied
  2. Click the edit menu
  3. Click the copy option which will place the text in the clipboard
  4. Place the cursor at the desired location where you want to paste
  5. Click the edit menu again
  6. Click the paste option. The text will be pasted in the new location in the document


Q. How will you move a text in MS Word

A. There are 2 options to move a text in a document

Option 1

  1. Select the text to be moved
  2. Press the CTRL and the X key at the same time
  3. Place the cursor at the desired location where you want to move the text
  4. Press the CTRL and the V key at the same time. The text will be pasted in the new location
Option 2

  1. Select the text to be moved
  2. Click the edit menu
  3. Click the CUT option
  4. Place the cursor at the desired location where you want to move the text
  5. Click the edit menu again
  6. Click the paste option. The text will be pasted in the new location in the document

It is very easy to delete a text from MS Word. Select the text to be deleted and press the Delete key

There are 2 options to undo an action in MS Word

Option 1

Press the CTRL and Z key together to undo an action in the document

Option 2

  1. Click the Edit menu
  2. Click the undo option
